Minimum specifications for client machines

This is the minimum required specification for client machines running Sage 200.

Processing tasks are handled on the server but a significant amount of processing is handled by the Sage 200 app on the client PC. The specification of the client machines will therefore affect the performance of the system.

To make sure Sage 200 displays correctly:

  • Check that your screen Resolution is set to the recommended setting for your display.

    To check this, open Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display > Screen Resolution.

  • Check that your text size is set to 100%.

    To check this, open Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display, and ensure that the size is set to Smaller - 100%.

Prerequisites

  • All client machines must have the regional settings set to English (UK) or English (Ireland).

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 (or later) is installed.

    Note: This may already be included if you have installed a later version of .NET Framework.

  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x86) - 14.24.28127 is installed.

  • The Sage 200 client application is installed using ClickOnce, and installed to your AppData\Local\Apps folder.
